Hello PTC Participants and Families,
WOW, I can’t believe it’s been well over a year since the Coronavirus caused a shutdown of all day programs in New Jersey. Obviously the number one question I’ve been asked throughout this past year by participants, staff and families has been about re-opening.
Well, it is with great pleasure that I announce the wait is over (again)!! All PrimeTime Center locations will reopen on Tuesday, May 11th for in-person services. Each location will open with limited capacity from 9:30a.m. to 3p.m. For information on health and safety measures being implemented during the pandemic please read through our updated PTC Policies and Procedures During COVID-19 which can be found on our webpage or requested from your program supervisor. Please note that at this time all policies/procedures in this manual must be strictly followed by everyone, including those who recently tested positive for COVID-19 and/or those who have already received a COVID-19 vaccine. Any PTC participants not able to adhere to the protocols listed in the COVID-19 policy manual may not be able to attend.
For those of you wishing to return to in-person service, there will be several documents that we will need in order to facilitate your admission. Each participant will need to submit a signed Individual Needs and Risk Assessment, a signed Receipt of COVID-19 Information Form and a sign off on the updated PTC Policies & Procedures During COVID-19 before they will be able to return to their program. All of these papers can be found on the PTC webpage. In addition, once you speak to your program supervisor about the days you will be returning, please reach out to your support coordinator to let them know the days you will be participating in in-person services. Individual Service Plans will need to be correct in order for you to participate.
For those participants not wishing to return right away or for those that cannot attend our programs daily due to limited capacity, have no fear, PTC will still be providing virtual services for each of their locations between the hours of 9:30a.m. to 3:15p.m. We will be eliminating our 8a.m. Coffee Chat but our other lesson times will remain the same: 9:30am, 11:00am, 12:30pm and 2:00pm. Each virtual lesson will remain 1hr and 15 minutes long (5 units) which will give everyone 5 hours per day (20 units) of virtual programming. We encourage everyone to participate in our wonderful virtual lessons on the days they are not in-person. Individual Service Plans will also have to include units for our virtual services in order for you to participate.
If you have any questions or concerns about our reopening please contact myself, Blanche Stetler or your program supervisor. We truly welcome any questions or suggestions you may have. Thank you so much to all of our participants and families for your continued support and cooperation as we maneuver through these unprecedented times. Your patience and cooperation continue to be very much appreciated.
Stay Happy & Stay Healthy!
